Job description
- Monitor enterprise network s for alarms, issues, outages, and degraded performance
- Identify and resolve issues directly or escalate appropriately
- Troubleshoot network issues using script-based methods and standard operational procedures
- Interface with higher-level support organizations (26th NOS / DISA) during outages and escalations
- Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) as directed
Engineering / Security Responsibilities:

Maintain required security posture across network infrastructure including:
- STIG compliance
- IOS-XE upgrades
- security updates
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot TACLANE / HAIPE encryption devices supporting classified and unclassified environments
Serve as final escalation point for complex routing, switching, encryption, and security issues
Conduct packet captures and root cause analysis
Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and compliance documentation
Support special projects, day-to-day operations, and on-call rotation
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- Current 8140 IAT Level II certification (Intermediate or Advanced)
- CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security
- 7-10+ years of network engineering experience in secure enterprise environments
- Proven DoD / defense contractor experience

Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco DNAC
- Cisco ISE / 802.1X
- BGP / OSPF
- HAIPE devices
Preferred:
- IPv6 knowledge
- Python / Ansible automation
- Cisco SD-WAN / CUCM / ACI exposure
- SIPR / air-gapped environment experience
- AFNCR / Pentagon / Joint Base experience
