Data Architect (contract)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented contractor to support internal-facing reporting and development initiatives in a fully remote capacity. This role is central to building and maintaining impactful dashboards, managing complex data workflows, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable data solutions that drive informed decision-making across the organization., * Collaborate with the Strategic Operations team and key stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective, data-driven solutions

• Design and develop dashboards and reports based on defined business requirements
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Support CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployment
• Manage code repositories and version control to ensure organized and efficient collaboration
• Document technical processes, data flows, and deployment procedures to maintain clear and accessible records

Do you have experience in Version control?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Strong experience with MicroStrategy development and administration

• Proficiency in Redshift SQL and data modeling
• Familiarity with Bamboo for CI/CD automation
• Experience with Bitbucket for source control and collaboration
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• End-to-end understanding of the data flow process, from ingestion to the consumption layer
• Solid working knowledge of surrounding disciplines including data quality, data operations, data modeling, and business intelligence
• Experience with statistical analysis and data mining tools is a plus
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies is a plus, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another analytical field preferred
• Functional experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile Project Management is preferred
