Job description

Working in a cleanroom environment, you combine testing, analysing, troubleshooting and improving. You will also perform a limited amount of assembly work, giving you a good understanding of the systems you are testing and allowing you to identify and solve issues effectively. As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for testing and qualifying complex mechatronic modules and systems. You make sure products perform as expected and meet the required quality standards before release. Your responsibilities include:

  • Connecting, setting up and calibrating complex systems and modules;
  • Performing endurance tests and visual quality inspections;
  • Analysing test results and identifying deviations or recurring issues;
  • Troubleshooting technical problems and determining possible causes;
  • Implementing corrective actions together with colleagues from Quality and Engineering;
  • Performing a limited amount of assembly work to understand the systems you are testing;
  • Contributing ideas for process and product improvements;
  • Helping to ensure stable and consistent test results;
  • Documenting test results and communicating findings to the relevant teams., You will join an organization specialized in developing and manufacturing complex high-tech modules and systems. The technology developed here contributes to some of the world’s most advanced applications, from semiconductor technology and medical innovation to space exploration and scientific research. You will work alongside experienced technical professionals in an environment where precision, innovation and problem-solving are part of everyday work. As a Test Engineer, your work directly contributes to the quality and reliability of systems that are used in highly demanding technological applications.

Requirements

  • Have completed a technical MBO or HBO education, preferably in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering;
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in a production, assembly or testing environment;
  • Have practical experience testing, adjusting or inspecting technical products;
  • Have a structured and analytical approach to technical problems;
  • Can remain calm and set priorities when things get busy;
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy working with colleagues from different disciplines;
  • Are comfortable taking responsibility for your own results;
  • Are willing to work in a 2-shift schedule.
