Network Security Specialist

• Strong networking and Internet security background, ideally within a large ISP or telecommunications environment.
• Deep understanding of BGP, RPKI, DNS/DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation and network hygiene, including BCP38/84.
• Experience investigating and tracing BGP hijacks, BGP leaks, DDoS attacks, malware and abuse traffic.
• Strong understanding of network security controls such as CoPP, ACLs and TACACS, alongside security monitoring and incident response.
• Comfortable working with international operational teams, security functions and external organisations to drive improvements.
• Knowledge of organisations such as RIPE NCC, RIRs, MANRS, M3AAWG and CableLabs would be highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings and make recommendations to both technical and operational stakeholders.
