Z/0S Engineer

• Monitor and manage batch jobs using JCL, SDSF, and scheduling tools
• Ensure timely execution of workloads and resolve job failures

Installation & Upgrade Management

• Install and maintain system software using SMP/E
• Apply patches, upgrades, and ensure software currency

Incident & Change Management

• Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve incidents within SLA
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
• Participate in CAB and support change deployments

Disaster Recovery & Resilience

• Support DR drills, system recovery, and failover activities
• Ensure systems meet RTO/RPO objectives

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Work with vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, and support
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CICS, DB2, MQ, Storage)

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in z/OS, JCL, JES2, SDSF
• Knowledge of SMP/E, system upgrades, and patching
• Experience in batch scheduling tools (TWS/Control-M)
• Exposure to CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ
• Familiarity with RACF/Security concepts
