- We design, implement, test, and troubleshoot security solutions.
- We monitor security tools and investigate security events and incidents.
- We support and maintain SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions.
- We carry out and support penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- We provide third-line support for network security issues.
- We develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- We produce accurate technical documentation, configuration records, schematics, and support guides.
- We advise colleagues and customers on cybersecurity risks, threats, and best practice.
- We work alongside IT and Engineering teams to ensure networks and devices remain secure.
- We support incident management and drive security issues through to resolution.
- We keep our technical knowledge up to date and share expertise across the wider team.
- We provide security advice on the design and management of internal and customer networks.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working across multiple networks, including designing and managing secure network environments.
- Strong experience with Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Experience with Juniper platforms.
- Good working knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.
- Experience with penetration testing and computer forensic tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and GDPR.
- Experience developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards.
- The ability to investigate complex security issues and provide practical technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to explain technical security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong customer service skills and experience dealing directly with customers.
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage work through to completion.
- The ability to obtain SC Security Clearance.
- A background in telecommunications, satellite communications, or maritime communications is highly desirable.
- Experience working with UK MOD or Government networks is highly desirable.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Redhill, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 5:30. We offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies, take ownership of complex security challenges, and help continually improve our cybersecurity standards and resilience. Full background screening and a DBS check are required, and candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, SC Security Clearance. We also require applicants to be eligible to work in the UK.
