Job description

Design, build and maintain secure, scalable platform solutions across hybrid cloud environments.
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
Implement monitoring, observability and operational tooling to improve platform reliability.
Work closely with Site Reliability Engineering and Operations teams to ensure high availability and resilience.
Support incident response, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as a technical mentor, promoting engineering standards and best practice across the team.
Collaborate with architects, engineers and stakeholders to evolve platform capabilities and adopt emerging technologies.

We are a growing engineering team delivering secure, resilient and scalable platforms across cloud and on-premise environments. This is a hybrid role based in Farnborough, and we offer an opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical projects supporting the Defence and National Security sector. You will work alongside highly skilled engineers, architects and technical specialists as we shape platform strategy and deliver robust infrastructure that enables modern software development at scale. The role offers a salary of up to £79,000.

Requirements

Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerised platforms.
Experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure or GCP.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Experience with CI/CD tooling and automation.
Experience with platform security, operational tooling and governance.
Experience delivering complex solutions within secure or regulated environments.
We require applicants to be Sole UK Nationals and eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC), with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV).
Experience within Defence, National Security or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous.
Willingness to undertake occasional international travel.
