Software Engineering Data Analytics

Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop software engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Set clear performance expectations and deliver structured, data-driven performance reviews alongside line managers
Work closely with Project Management to align team capability and resource planning with current and future project requirements
Provide day-to-day leadership and line management, supporting career development and continuous learning
Drive improvements across engineering processes, tools, and development methodologies to increase efficiency and quality
Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practice, helping guide technical direction and engineering standards, We are hiring a Software Operations Manager for our East Midlands team on a hybrid basis, with one day per week in the office. This is an opportunity to influence both the people and technical direction of a growing engineering function. Proven experience leading and developing software engineering teams
Strong people management skills, including recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and performance management
A continuous improvement mindset with experience enhancing engineering processes and delivery
A solid technical background that enables us to support engineers and contribute to technical decision-making
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, project management, and wider business teams
