IT Asset & Deployment Manager

Elevate is seeking an IT Asset & Deployment Manager to manage the end-to-end lifecycle management of all IT assets and depot operations, ensuring accurate tracking, secure handling, and efficient provisioning of equipment across a distributed workforce. This role oversees device staging, logistics, asset governance, and lifecycle processes to support onboarding, offboarding, and acquisition integration at scale. The position plays a critical role in maintaining audit readiness, operational efficiency, and high-quality employee experience. In this role, you will support many different enterprise IT systems, improving cost effectiveness, and service quality.

This is an in-office role, based in our Charlotte, NC office.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily depot operations, including imaging, enrollment, staging, and kitting of devices (Windows via Autopilot/Intune, macOS via Jamf or equivalents)
• Manage shipping, receiving, returns (RMAs), and logistics coordination across the United States
• Maintain appropriate spares inventory and device buffers to support rapid onboarding and break/fix scenarios
• Own the IT asset lifecycle from procurement through deployment, reassignment, and disposal
• Maintain accuracy of asset records across systems (e.g., ITSM, Intune, CMDB, asset tools)
• Ensure secure handling, storage, and disposal of equipment in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Optimize depot workflows for efficiency, quality, and scalability
• Establish and enforce asset governance policies aligned with audit frameworks (e.g., SOC2, internal controls)
• Lead regular asset audits, reconciliation processes, and inventory validations
• Track hardware lifecycle, depreciation, and refresh cycles
• Partner with HR, Service Desk, and Identity teams to ensure seamless Day 1 readiness and secure offboarding
• Offers a strong understanding of the user experience (both internally and externally), executes and refines business processes, systems, technology, data, and information systems to achieve and exceed business outcomes
• Provide recommendations and partnerships for technology solutions including the creation of technical proposals and soliciting cost estimates

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, and/or minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management, endpoint deployment, depot operations, end-user computing, IT logistics, or a related technology operations role. Experience should include responsibility for the full device lifecycle, including procurement coordination, inventory management, provisioning, deployment, reassignment, repair, return, and secure disposal., * Solid working knowledge in software solutions: Specifically, Microsoft Intune and Office 365 Suite, Digital Asset Management Solutions, VMWare, or equivalent virtualization systems

• 5-8+ years of experience in IT asset management, depot operations, or end-user computing
• Proven experience managing device lifecycle operations in a mid-to-large enterprise environment
• Experience supporting distributed or global workforce environments
• Experience working with cloud software and systems
• Proficient with MacOS and knowledgeable with Windows 11
• Understanding of asset lifecycle management best practices
• Experience with audit frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001) preferred
• Knowledge of secure device handling and disposal standards
• Demonstrated experience in process analysis
• Experience in multi-site organizations with distribution systems
• Strong operational leadership and process design capability
• Attention to detail with high standards for data accuracy and audit readiness
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration (HR, Security, Procurement, Service Desk)
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-growth, acquisition-driven environment, * This position requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds of computer equipment
• This position requires extensive work in front of a computer screen
• This position requires sitting for extended periods of time while using a computer or phone
• Travel will not be frequent, but may be required on occasion

• Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 annual base salary plus bonus eligible
