Job description

Most businesses struggle with internal tools that are difficult to use or break at the worst possible moments. We specialize in fixing these broken processes by looking at the actual logs and data rather than just talking about abstract strategy. We are currently supporting a London-based partner with a complex set of internal systems that need refinement. The Graduate Frontend Developer role exists to build and repair the interfaces our clients use to manage their data. You will work on internal dashboards, custom forms, and data visualization tools that replace messy spreadsheets and unreliable manual steps. This is a fully remote position where your focus is on creating clear, usable layouts that help workers complete their tasks without fighting the software. What you will do

  • Develop and maintain user interfaces for internal business applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Translate complex operational workflows into simple, logical web components that are easy for non-technical users to navigate.
  • Identify and fix bugs in existing frontend code that cause friction or confusion for end users during their workday.
  • Connect frontend components to backend APIs and ensure data flows correctly and reliably into the interface.
  • Clean up messy CSS and layout issues to ensure dashboards remain readable and functional across different screens.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to understand how employees actually use the tools we build and where they get stuck.
  • Write clear documentation for every component you build so that other team members can maintain it later.
  • Review existing internal sites to find areas where performance or page load times can be improved for better efficiency.
  • Participate in testing new features before they go live to ensure they handle real-world data without breaking.

Requirements

  • A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript gained through a degree, a bootcamp, or structured personal projects.
  • Familiarity with at least one frontend framework, such as React or Vue, and a desire to learn how to use it in a professional setting.
  • An interest in how businesses function and a genuine curiosity about why internal processes often fail.
  • The ability to write clear, concise English for both code comments and regular internal updates.
  • A logical mindset that enjoys hunting for the root cause of a rendering error or a broken link in a system.
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment while staying disciplined with your tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to matching a visual layout to the final implementation in the browser.
  • A practical approach to problem solving that prioritizes functionality and clarity over overly complex or experimental designs.

Benefits & conditions

What we offer

  • A fully remote working arrangement that respects your time and focuses on your output rather than hours spent at a desk.
  • A competitive salary that is attractive for a graduate level position in the current market.
  • The chance to work on tangible problems for a London-based client rather than hypothetical features.
  • Direct mentorship from senior practitioners who value clean code and practical solutions to business problems.
  • A culture that avoids unnecessary status meetings in favor of well-written documentation and clear, actionable tasks.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of business systems, ranging from finance reconciliation tools to supply chain trackers.
  • The opportunity to see the immediate results of your work as it improves daily operations for real people.
  • Regular feedback and a structured path to help you grow your technical skills and understanding of professional software development.

About the company

Tech Pipeline operates on the principle that if a process is stable and the team can run it without us, our job is done. We prefer written updates and clear tickets over long calls. This means you will have the space to focus on your code while staying connected through our shared documentation and messaging. We do not stay around for the sake of it: we fix the problem, ensure it holds, and then move on to the next challenge. This role offers a chance to build your skills in an environment where your work has a clear, measurable purpose.
