Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Front End Web Developer to join our vibrant digital team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about transforming design concepts into functional digital realities, this opportunity is for you!, * Develop and implement visually appealing, responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional interfaces that delight users.
  • Integrate front-end components with back-end services via RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other web services to ensure smooth data flow.
  • Optimize website performance through efficient coding practices, including minification, caching strategies, and code splitting.
  • Conduct thorough testing of front-end code using unit testing frameworks and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Maintain version control using Git or GitHub, manage deployment pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools, and participate in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
  • Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices to continually enhance our digital offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in front-end development with strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (TypeScript preferred), and responsive web design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with popular JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js, jQuery, or React Native.
  • Familiarity with back-end integration using AJAX, REST APIs, SOAP web services, GraphQL, and knowledge of server-side technologies like Node.js or Django is a plus.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal is desirable.
  • Knowledge of database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite or MongoDB for data visualization and application development purposes.
  • Understanding of system architecture concepts such as MVC (Model-View-Controller), microservices architecture, and DevOps practices including Docker and Ansible.
  • Ability to utilize UI/UX design tools for wireframing and prototyping; familiarity with tools like Trello for project management is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities; experience working within Agile/Scrum environments using Jira or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimization techniques to improve site visibility and speed.
