Job description

The role will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that compliment a dynamic, always growing and evolving global network for one of the leading organizations in financial services., Although the core focus of this role will be to act as a Network Engineer with a solid understanding of Network & IT Infrastructure Fundamentals including protocols, switches, routers/firewalls, it will also include exposure to experience operating within Azure & AWS cloud tenants. You will design and manage the local and wide area networks of our organization to ensure maximum up time for our users., Develop secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures using technologies like VPNs, VPCs, virtual networks, and load balancers.

Provision, configure, and manage cloud-based network resources across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Cisco Meraki.
Enforce robust security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
Continuously monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and optimize for stability, availability, and efficiency.
Seamlessly connect cloud environments with on-premises infrastructure using secure methods like VPNs.
Leverage automation tools and scripting languages to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting network infrastructure within AWS and Azure (required)

Strong experience in Cisco Meraki (switching, SD-WAN, Wireless, Cameras)
Strong experience in Network Fundamentals, protocols, and technologies TCP/IP, VLAN, WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, TLS, NAT, PAT, VPN, BGP, OSPF
Excellent experience in firewalls (Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet preferred)
Implementing & Administering Wi-Fi
Experience of working within the financial services industry highly advantagous
