Systems Test Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Test Engineer for a temporary opportunity supporting the development and testing of innovative medical technology products. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with hands-on laboratory experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for product development, design verification, and problem-solving., * Develop and execute test methods, test fixtures, and laboratory experiments to evaluate product performance.

• Support design verification testing, test method validation, and product development activities.
• Analyze test data, identify trends, and communicate results through technical reports and presentations.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including protocols, procedures, and test reports.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Project Management.
• Support prototype and commercial product testing in a laboratory environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of engineering, laboratory, internship, co-op, research, or product development experience.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within team environments.
• Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical device applications is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Design verification testing and test method validation.
• Medical device or research experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, Design Controls, and Risk Analysis.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Minitab, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python.
