Pre-Analytical Assistant I

• Perform general support functions within the Technical Operations Department.
• Learn job duties and develop an understanding of how Technical Operations and Specimen Processing functions impact result quality.
• Identify and resolve problems with specimen types, missing information, sorting, racking, and storage.
• Research test order information using translation tables, computer systems, and directories of services.
• Meet quality and production standards within 6 months of completing training.
• Complete all required written documentation legibly and within assigned time frames.
• Follow attendance guidelines and support the department during coworker absences.
• Learn additional functions within Technical Operations to allow for career progression.
