Job description

Perform software design, development, testing, and integration activities supporting the B-52 platform and associated military systems. Support software requirements, architecture, interfaces, testing, peer reviews, and Agile development activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
5+ years of experience with Ada
Experience with embedded real-time software development and with Agile development practices
Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
Preferred Skills
Previous technical experience in an aerospace environment
Proficiency in design and implementation of multi-threaded real-time applications
Self-motivated problem solver capable of taking initiative with minimal instruction
Able to problem-solve in a clear and concise manner
Strong communication skills

Physical Requirements & Environment
Work in a hybrid environment with onsite work in Oklahoma City as needed
Local candidates work onsite in Oklahoma City
Non-local candidates travel to Oklahoma City once or twice per month or every other month for several days as needed
Candidates must be comfortable working onsite or traveling to work onsite
Initial onsite training may be required for approximately one week
Troubleshooting may involve a high-fidelity laboratory environment with aircraft hardware
