Job description
Sentar is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in San Diego, CA supporting Airborne Networking and Advanced Development Technical Support.
Requirements
Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience supporting systems engineering, integration, testing, or certification of DOW or mission-critical systems
- Experience supporting communications systems, including airborne, shore-based, or SATCOM environments
- Experience in system integration, installation, and certification activities
- Experience supporting system testing, verification, or operational test events (e.g., SOVT or similar)
- Experience performing requirements development, verification, and validation
- Experience developing or supporting technical documentation and certification artifacts
- Experience working within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) or similar collaborative engineering environments
Desired:
- Extensive experience (e.g., 10+ years) supporting complex DOW technical programs
- Experience supporting airborne communications systems or SATCOM-based architecture
- Experience supporting system installation planning (e.g., site surveys, integration plans, or deployment briefs)
- Experience supporting readiness certifications or technical review boards (e.g., FRCB or similar)
