Job description

We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS DevOps and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in managing cloud infrastructure and automating deployment processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a team to enhance our platform’s reliability and performance. Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
Utilize Python scripting to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and enhancements.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Document processes, configurations, and workflows for future reference.

Requirements

Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Strong proficiency in DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.).
Expertise in Python scripting for automation and system integration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, etc.).
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
Experience with database management and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Certifications in AWS (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 7 years of relevant experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly.
