Job description

We are seeking an Embedded C Developer with strong Linux/OpenWrt experience to develop firmware for residential WiFi gateways supporting DOCSIS/Fiber WAN and LTE/5G cellular backup., * Develop and debug embedded C software on Linux/OpenWrt platforms.

  • Develop OpenSync managers, OVSDB integrations, and cloud-managed services.
  • Implement LTE/5G failover, modem management, WAN routing, and health checks.
  • Work with cellular modems using AT commands, QMI/MBIM, USB, and PCIe/MHI.
  • Configure and troubleshoot WiFi drivers on Qualcomm/Broadcom/Atheros platforms.
  • Debug Linux kernel, PCIe, USB, networking, and driver-level issues.
  • Implement secure connectivity using TLS/mTLS, X.509, GRE, and IPsec.
  • Develop OpenWrt UCI configurations, init scripts, storage management, and unit tests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Embedded C development on Linux.
  • Strong C programming, IPC, memory management, and event-driven programming.
  • Hands-on OpenWrt experience including UCI, build system, packages, and filesystems.
  • Experience with OpenSync, OVSDB, MQTT, protobuf or similar CPE frameworks.
  • Strong Linux networking knowledge: IPv4/IPv6, routing, DHCP, netfilter, bridges.
  • Cellular modem integration using AT/QMI/MBIM.
  • Experience with GDB, strace, tcpdump, kernel logs, and serial console.
  • Git/GitLab, CI/CD, cross-compilation, and Shell scripting., * Qualcomm IPQ / Broadcom BCM / Atheros chipsets.
  • DOCSIS, WiFi 6/6E/7, PCIe/USB, eSIM/eUICC, TR-069/TR-369.
  • 5G NSA/SA, carrier aggregation, and ISP/MSO/OEM experience.
