Senior Application Engineer job in Milwaukee

As a CBRE ES Application Sr. Tech, you will create control databases, graphic screens, and the set-up of complex control systems based on project specifications and sale proposals.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

&bull Program control applications using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels, and third-party integration devices.

&bull Conduct job site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications. Verify proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.

&bull Deliver on-site customer operator training on the use of the installed system.

&bull Perform system evaluation and diagnostics. Identify corrective action to restore systems to proper operating conditions.

&bull Perform final walkthrough with owner and construction manager to ensure all punch list items are complete and job received signoff of substantial completion.

&bull Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

&bull Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

&bull Impact the quality of own work.

&bull Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

&bull High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

&bull Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

&bull Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

&bull Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

&bull In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, and Outlook.

&bull Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
