Computer Technician - Technology - 2026-2027 School Year

Assist, diagnose, and resolve any problems relating to the networking of technology equipment

Perform network installations and relocations as needed

Perform installation and repairs as scheduled by the Help Desk

Assist in the maintenance of the district technology inventory

Keep detailed technical support records

Assist in maintaining accurate Help Desk records

Perform detailed phone support as needed

Assist in maintaining the technology warehouse

Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Service Supervisor and Executive Director of Technology

Associate’s degree in a technology-related field preferred APlus Certification preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications, troubleshooting, and repair Knowledge of DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and Windows NT Basic

Knowledge of network operating systems Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

Climbing, stooping, bending, and kneeling;

Frequent use of small hand tools and electronic test equipment;

Frequent district-wide travel; Occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
