Job description

What You’ll Experience:

  • Hands-on work with the system development life cycle and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and running security assessments of a mission critical system.
  • Building RMF documentation, including security plans, testing plans, and compliance analysis.
  • Conducting vulnerability scans and compliance checks in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Collaborating with teams, customers, and stakeholders to solve complex cybersecurity challenges.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience., Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required., * Strong expertise in software engineering and cybersecurity frameworks like NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53.

  • Experience with STIGs, security policies, and vulnerability assessments for different systems and devices.
  • Hands-on technical experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Application Security and Development (ASD) STIG, static code analysis
  • Proficiency in developing RMF documentation and performing compliance scans.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred), plus an active Security+ or CISSP certification.
