Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with the development of embedded systems for avionics applications.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Fully proficient understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
  • Fully proficient proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST 800-53 security controls, STIGs, and other government security specifications and guidelines.
  • Fully proficient knowledge of cyber security technology and trends.
  • Fully proficient understanding of verification and validation processes.
  • Ability to clearly recognize and report relevant system security concerns and issues.
  • Fully proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teams.
  • CISSP certification is a plus or must be able to get CISSP certified within 6 months of hire.
