Job description

The Arizona Department of Administration (AZDA) is seeking an Expert-Level Drupal Developer with strong experience in Drupal 10/11, ADA Title II/III compliance, and WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards. The selected candidate will lead the development, accessibility remediation, UI implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance of enterprise web applications and custom Drupal modules. This role requires full-stack development expertise, accessibility testing, and the ability to independently deliver secure, high-performing, and accessible web solutions. Important Notes 100% Onsite - Phoenix, AZ Local Phoenix Candidates Only Resume must include current location. Overtime is expected. Candidate will be responsible for both development and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Drupal development experience Strong knowledge of Drupal 10/11 Experience developing custom Drupal modules and themes Strong understanding of ADA Title II/III accessibility requirements Experience implementing WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards Strong experience with PHP, Twig, HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript Experience integrating third-party REST APIs/Web Services Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL Experience with responsive web design and semantic HTML Experience performing accessibility remediation and accessibility testing Experience with WAI-ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security best practices Preferred Skills Drupal 11 Drupal 10 Custom Module Development Theme Development WCAG 2.2 AA Compliance ADA Accessibility Remediation Screen Reader Testing (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) Cross-Browser Testing Performance Optimization Security Audits Content Migration Database Optimization Primary Skills Drupal 10, Drupal 11, PHP, Twig, HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, MySQL, PostgreSQL, ADA, WCAG 2.2 AA, Accessibility, WAI-ARIA, Screen Readers, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, REST APIs, Web Services, Custom Drupal Modules, Theme Development, Semantic HTML, Responsive Design
