Job description
We are looking for a Medior MVC C# /.NET Developer to strengthen an established Web Team undergoing an exciting digital transformation., As a Medior MVC C# /.NET Developer, you will: Develop robust web applications, APIs, and reusable web components using the .NET ecosystem. Improve and monitor frontend and backend performance, ensuring stability, reliability, and maintainability. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, architects, and integration teams to deliver seamless, real-time data flows. Translate technical requirements into clean, efficient, and scalable code. Contribute to coding standards, development best practices, and technical quality. Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration. Help improve security, maintainability, and overall application quality. Stay up to date with the latest .NET technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices. Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture. Communicate progress, identify risks, and proactively solve technical challenges.
Requirements
With at least 5 years of experience, you have a strong command of the .NET ecosystem and a proven track record of building scalable, reliable, and user-focused web platforms. Your expertise in web development, API integration, scripting languages, and modern engineering practices will help deliver high-quality digital experiences. Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) is considered an advantage., Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with MVC, C#, and .NET web development. Strong knowledge of: .NET 6+ .NET Core MVC Web API RESTful Services Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core) or other ORM frameworks. Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS/SCSS. At least 1 year of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework such as Angular or React. Experience with CMS platforms is a plus (e.g. Sitecore, Umbraco, Optimizely, Episerver). Technical Skills Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development principles. Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. Ways of Working Experience working in Agile environments. Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams. Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Communication Strong communication skills. Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch or French is considered an asset.
