Job description

We are looking for a Medior .NET Backend Developer to support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of core business applications. You will work closely with analysts, architects and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Framework, .NET 8+ and REST/WebAPI.
Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET WebForms/MVC.
Design and manage SQL Server 2016-2025 and Oracle 19+ databases.
Use Entity Framework Core for data access and optimization.
Work with XML, JSON, WCF and Web Services.
Apply design patterns, SOLID principles and development standards.
Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications.
Write and execute unit tests, troubleshoot technical issues and participate in code reviews.
Use Azure DevOps, Git and TFVC.
Contribute to continuous improvement and Agile/Scrum activities.

Requirements

Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core / .NET 8+.
Strong Entity Framework Core experience, including complex query writing, reading and optimization.
Experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC and RESTful APIs.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle.
Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
Good knowledge of SOLID, OOP and design patterns.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Autonomous, proactive and quality-oriented.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent/native-level French is mandatory. Dutch and English are an advantage.
