Job description

Design, set up, and maintain automated tests with a focus on backend processes Test APIs, integrations, and event-driven flows Validate asynchronous communication between systems Define BDD scenarios (Gherkin) and implement them through automation frameworks Integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline Analyze and debug complex issues in distributed systems Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and architects Actively contribute to test strategy and quality improvements

Requirements

Must-have skills Minimum 8 years of experience Strong experience with backend testing Proven experience with queuing systems / messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, or similar) Strong knowledge of asynchronous architectures Java as the primary language for test automation Experience with automation frameworks (e.g. JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber…) Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab…) Experience with BDD / Gherkin Experience within a Java environment Nice to have Experience in large enterprise environments Knowledge of end-to-end integration testing Strong debugging skills in complex environments Experience with Agile / Scrum
