Job description

This role supports two major system overhaul projects and is expected to last at least 6 months, likely closer to 12 months. The manager is seeking someone who can quickly learn the organization’s systems, become an independent contributor, and provide support across data analytics, automation, and reporting initiatives., * Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.

  • Work within Snowflake to access, manage, and analyze data.
  • Build and maintain automation scripts using Python.
  • Utilize Databricks for data processing and scripting activities (nice-to-have, can be learned if strong Python skills are present).
  • Create dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI.
  • Support large-scale system modernization projects.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Quickly learn business processes, systems, and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience Level: Open to entry-level through senior candidates; no minimum or maximum years of experience required if skills and education align.
  • Industry Experience: No specific industry background required., 1. SQL (Non-Negotiable)
  • Strong SQL querying experience is essential.
  • Snowflake experience is preferred, but strong SQL skills can substitute since Snowflake is heavily SQL-based. 2. Python (Non-Negotiable)
  • Used for automation and scripting.
  • Strong to advanced Python skills are highly preferred. 3. Power BI
  • Dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Experience with DAX is beneficial.

  • Computer Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Or a related technical discipline
