IT Manager - Workforce & Operational Systems

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee multiple technology platforms. This role will guide the delivery, maintenance, and enhancement of business-critical applications. The position combines team leadership, stakeholder partnership, and technical oversight to ensure systems remain dependable, secure, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Responsibilities:

Lead developers, analysts, and external technology partners in delivering stable and effective application support across workforce and operational systems.

Direct the planning and execution of enhancements, issue resolution, and projects involving SaaS solutions and internally built business applications.

Oversee vendor relationships by coordinating performance, service expectations, and project outcomes with third-party providers.

Establish and maintain application standards that promote reliability, scalability, security, and long-term business value.

Manage the day-to-day support model for assigned platforms, ensuring timely response to incidents, service requests, and recurring operational needs.

Provide leadership across multiple initiatives by balancing resource planning, delivery timelines, and cross-functional communication.

Monitor application performance and recommend improvements that strengthen system effectiveness and user experience.

Experience managing enterprise applications that support workforce or operational business functions. Strong background working with HRIS, learning management systems, workforce management platforms, and other SaaS-based solutions. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams that may include developers, analysts, and external vendors. Solid understanding of application support, project delivery, and ongoing platform improvement within a business environment. Ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders and translate functional needs into technology priorities. Knowledge of system reliability, scalability, and security principles for enterprise applications.
