Job description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager/Director to lead technology operations and support a dependable, secure infrastructure in Schiller Park, Illinois. This role will oversee core systems, guide technical priorities, and ensure business technology remains stable, efficient, and aligned with organizational needs. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills along with hands-on knowledge of enterprise networks, system administration, backup solutions, and hardware environments., Direct daily IT operations, ensuring systems, networks, and user services perform reliably across the organization. Manage and maintain Active Directory environments, including account administration, access controls, and policy enforcement. Oversee backup and recovery practices to protect business data and support continuity in the event of system issues. Lead the administration and optimization of Cisco-based networking infrastructure to maintain secure and efficient connectivity. Coordinate the installation, support, and lifecycle management of computer hardware and related equipment. Establish and maintain configuration management standards to improve consistency, control changes, and support system stability. Provide technical leadership on infrastructure planning, troubleshooting, and performance improvement initiatives. Partner with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs, prioritize projects, and deliver practical IT solutions.
Requirements
Proven experience in an IT leadership role with responsibility for infrastructure, systems, and operational support.
Strong working knowledge of Active Directory administration and user access management.
Experience with backup technologies and disaster recovery processes in a business environment.
Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies, including network administration and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of computer hardware deployment, maintenance, and support practices.
Familiarity with configuration management principles and controlled change processes.
