Job description

Summary: Client recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to modernize their customer relationship management and record-keeping processes. The initial phase included system configuration, data migration, and integration with key business applications.

The next phase focuses on completing advanced configurations, optimizing workflows, and ensuring user adoption across the organization’s departments. Dynamics is the first CRM system of its kind for the client, introducing a steep learning curve and significant process changes, but also tremendous opportunities to solve problems, innovate, and modernize how the organization uses data.

This project is owned by the Member Services and Engagement Department in close collaboration with the Information Technology Org., · Identify and design innovative CRM solutions and features that support Member Services tasks.

· Support data quality, usage governance, and security compliance.

Scope of Work

The ideal consultant is a Dynamics 365 subject matter expert with strong backend, configuration, and solution-design expertise. Work will include, but is not limited to:

· Fact-finding and Consulting: Proactively engage to fully understand CRM needs and the broader connections with the organization. Review processes and participate in relevant stakeholder meetings to identify areas where CRM functionality can be modernized or streamlined to enhance operations. Develop recommendations, SOPs, best practices, and documentation as assigned.

· Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer: Complete implementation deliverables through continuous training and team hand-offs to the appropriate end-back and front-end users.

· Status Reporting: Prepare weekly status reports of completed work, open items, risks, etc. Track future enhancement requests and partner with leadership to establish priorities.

· Complete Implementation Deliverables, including but not limited to:

o Design, build, and implement solutions for Member Services and related IT support to improve user experience; document processes to support adoption.

o Configure and refine entities, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, workflows, and automations. Customize fields and layouts to client requirements.

o Partner with stakeholders to create and implement an environment strategy, solution layering, and governance for scalable enterprise deployment.

o Create dataverse tables for new record types; establish and refine relationships between new and existing records.

o Analyze existing configurations, usage, table/field relationships, data types, and performance, and recommend improvements for efficiency and functionality.

o Update and improve business process flows across key scenarios.

o Integrate Dynamics 365 with various data and applications; configure APIs/connectors and collaborate with ITG and cross-functional teams.

o Develop custom workflows to update field values and automated emails based on sets of criteria.

o Build advanced, branded, export-friendly reports and cross-entity reporting capabilities, including entity-based (person-type) reports with selectable data elements at run time.

o Enhance and configure the customer insights functions and features, including engagement scoring algorithms.

o Conduct functional testing and UAT assets (test plans, scripts, scenarios) and coordinate sign-off.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Power BI?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, · Minimum seven years of technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

· Advanced proficiency in building and updating complex business process flows in Dynamics 365

· Advanced proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps) and Platform, including Power BI and Power Automate.

· Experience configuring API integrations (experience with Drupal, Hivebrite, Docebo, and CVENT or similar system integrations is preferred.)

· JavaScript development skills for Dynamics customization

· Experience with Dataverse queries/FetchXML, and solution layering strategies

· Demonstrated curiosity and problem-solving mindset throughout solution design and implementation

· Experience evaluating business processes and translating organizational needs into effective Dynamics 365 solutions

· Ability to learn organizational context quickly and connect business challenges to CRM-based improvements

· Ability to function as both lead consultant and technical SME, guiding project direction, sequencing, and risk mitigation.

· Experience and interest in learning about an organization at a depth necessary to connect business needs and challenges to effective solutions within Dynamics

· Strong ability to communicate with both technical partners and end users.

· Proven experience developing future-state process maps and CRM solution blueprints.

Objectives

· Continue and finalize the CRM implementation.

· Configure and optimize advanced features and modules., · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

· Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or CRM solution architecture are a plus.

· Previous consulting experience and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional, and change-oriented environments will be highly regarded., * Are you open to traveling onsite a few times annually?
