Controls and Aftermarket Support Engineer

Our client is seeking a hybrid technical expert to provide hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting for industrial CNC machine tools while driving aftermarket sales support and customer success. BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field. Experience in controls, specializing in Fanuc CNCs and ladder logic. salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Diagnose PLCs, PMCs, HMIs, motion control systems, Fanuc CNC controls, VB.net/VB6 software, and motor/spindle drives.
• Perform ball screw parameter tuning, tool changer adjustments, and safety system/sensor maintenance.
• Build and configure replacement control PCs for field applications.
• Deliver technical customer support, assist with customer orders, and utilize CRM tools to support aftermarket sales.
• Read technical schematics, train internal team members, and ensure safe, timely project execution.
