Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lifecycle Senior Specialist (OHS): Contract Management based in Spain. This is an opportunity to play a key role in managing occupational health and safety operations across multiple countries. You’ll oversee vendor partnerships, contracting processes, health assessments, safety training, and compliance activities. The role combines operational ownership with process improvement, stakeholder management, and regulatory expertise. You’ll work across jurisdictions, helping ensure employees receive consistent, high-quality occupational health and safety support. Your expertise will also contribute to new policies, audits, and scalable processes across a global organization. You’ll collaborate with People, Legal, vendors, and internal teams in a highly autonomous, asynchronous environment. The role is ideal for an OHS professional who enjoys solving complex problems and making a measurable global impact. Accountabilities

  • Manage and execute occupational health and safety solutions across multiple jurisdictions with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance, employee safety, and a high-quality experience.
  • Act as an internal point of contact for routine and complex OHS questions while providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Identify, onboard, contract, and manage OHS vendors, training partners, health centers, and other external providers.
  • Own vendor relationships and deliverables, monitor performance through structured assessments, and provide consistent feedback to improve service quality.
  • Coordinate health assessments, safety training, and other OHS-related activities for employees across multiple countries.
  • Lead and coordinate internal country-level OHS audits to help ensure compliance with applicable local regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing OHS procedures and practices, while designing and implementing new processes from the ground up.
  • Partner with People and Legal teams to develop and implement occupational health and safety policies.
  • Contribute to the wider goals and values of the Lifecycle Operations function while acting as a trusted OHS representative internally and externally.
  • Handle employee data and confidential information securely, following established protocols and maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Degree or professional certification in Occupational Health and Safety, with relevant experience covering multiple countries, particularly across Europe.
  • Proven experience identifying, onboarding, coordinating, or managing vendors and external partners.
  • Experience managing OHS matters across multiple jurisdictions and supporting employees and external providers in different countries.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to map, optimize, and implement processes effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate proactively and positively with distributed teams and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative yet independent working style, with the confidence to take ownership and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Growth-oriented and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly when priorities or circumstances change.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience working in a remote environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Familiarity with AI tools used in HR, OHS, or operational workflows is an advantage.

Benefits & conditions

  • Annual salary range of $37,250-$83,800 USD, with actual compensation determined by location, experience, skills, training, and market factors.
  • Global, fully remote working environment with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Flexible working hours within an asynchronous work culture.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Mental health support services.
  • Stock options.
  • Learning and professional development budget.
  • Home office budget and IT equipment.
  • Budget for local in-person social events or coworking spaces.
  • Compensation philosophy focused on pay equity, fairness, and competitive local market rates.
  • Opportunity to work on global occupational health and safety initiatives with colleagues and partners across multiple countries.
