Job description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer / AWS Architect to join our team supporting a leading financial services client in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture, DevOps practices, automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud security. This is a fully onsite position, 5 days per week, and candidates must be local to the Pittsburgh, PA area and available for an in-person interview., * Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and automation.
Implement DevOps best practices across development, testing, and production environments.
Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation/Terraform, and related services.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and deployments.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
Implement cloud security, IAM, networking, monitoring, logging, and compliance best practices.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
Help define and implement AWS architecture standards and cloud migration strategies.

Requirements

Strong experience in AWS Cloud Architecture and DevOps.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps automation.
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code technologies.
Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, IAM, compute, storage, and databases.
Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must be a local Pittsburgh-area candidate and available for an in-person interview.
