Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP development, SAP S/4HANA, integrations, performance optimization, and custom SAP solutions., * Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF).
Work extensively with ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
Develop and maintain SAP interfaces using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, REST, SOAP, and OData.
Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, and SQL-based solutions for SAP S/4HANA.
Work with SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData services where required.
Perform code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other technical teams.
Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, implementations, and support projects.
Follow SAP development standards, security practices, and documentation guidelines.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Expertise in ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming.
Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
Strong knowledge of:
Reports and ALV
BAPIs and RFCs
IDocs
BADIs and User Exits
Enhancements
Smart Forms / SAPscript / Adobe Forms
Function Modules
Debugging and performance tuning
Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and modern ABAP.
Knowledge of SAP HANA database and HANA optimization techniques.
Experience integrating SAP with external systems.
Strong understanding of SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, or other SAP modules.

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.
Knowledge of Fiori and SAP Gateway.
Experience with SAP BTP and cloud integrations.
Exposure to REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
Knowledge of SAP development tools such as ADT (ABAP Development Tools).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
SAP ABAP certification is a plus., * Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant SAP certifications are preferred., * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and SAP methodologies.
