We are seeking an experienced Varicent Lead Developer / Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions using the Varicent platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience configuring Varicent, developing compensation calculation logic, building data integrations, creating reports and workflows, supporting production compensation cycles, and collaborating with business and technology teams throughout the SDLC., Configure, develop, and maintain Varicent Incentive Compensation solutions. Design, develop, and support data import processes for compensation and performance data. Build, enhance, and troubleshoot compensation calculations and business rules. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and compensation outputs for business stakeholders. Configure and support workflows related to compensation administration and approvals. Maintain scheduler jobs and automated processes supporting recurring compensation cycles. Develop and support Python scripts for automation, integrations, and data transformation. Troubleshoot data, calculation, reporting, and system performance issues. Partner with business and technology teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Support production compensation cycles, payout validation, reconciliation, and ongoing platform maintenance. Participate in technical design, testing, deployment, and production support activities. Requirements
5+ years of hands-on Varicent development and configuration experience. 5+ years of enterprise software development and technical design experience. 5+ years of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience. Strong experience with SQL, data querying, reporting, and data management. Experience supporting Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions. Hands-on experience with Varicent data imports, compensation calculations, business rules, reporting, analytics, workflows, scheduler management, and Python scripting. Experience supporting production compensation processing, payout validation, and troubleshooting. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large-scale incentive compensation programs. Experience working with complex commission, incentive, bonus, or sales compensation plans. Experience with compensation data validation, reconciliation, audit support, and governance. Experience supporting multiple lines of business and enterprise-scale compensation platforms. Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or other regulated industries. Knowledge of enterprise change management, data governance, and compliance processes.
