Job description

We’re looking for a Motion Designer to own all motion graphics across the vehicle UI and companion mobile app. You’ll design and implement fluid, purposeful animations that elevate the in-car and phone experience-working closely with the core UI designers and engineers. You’ll be embedded with the core vehicle software UI design team and expected to ship high-quality motion that feels native to Tesla’s design language.

  • Integration with engineering

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-time motion design experience
  • Strong portfolio of motion work 2D and 3D for interactive products (UI, apps, or games preferred)
  • Experience animating with code (e.g., Lottie, Rive, CSS/JS, native animation frameworks) and/or modern AI coding/animation tools
  • Ability to translate design intent into performant, production-ready motion

Expected Compensation $133,000 - $285,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
