Artificial Intelligence Artificial Neural Networks Program Optimization Machine Learning Robotic Automation Software Build Management Information Technology

Job description

We are seeking a forward-thinking technologist to pioneer artificial intelligence frameworks that elevate the safety and reliability of next-generation automated vehicle platforms. This position focuses on the research and implementation of holistic “perception-to-action” models, moving beyond modular components to create seamless, intelligent driving experiences., * Frontier Research: Actively investigate and prototype experimental AI methodologies to redefine the benchmarks for security and performance in automated transit.

  • Safety Modeling: Design and build sophisticated algorithms dedicated to real-time risk evaluation, ensuring that autonomous agents can navigate complex environments with high confidence.
  • Model Optimization: Enhance and adapt existing high-performance, end-to-end neural networks to resolve specific safety hurdles and edge-case scenarios inherent in advanced mobility.
  • Strategic Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of the global AI landscape, including emerging technical standards, legislative requirements, and industrial best practices to ensure technological leadership.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate (PhD) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience specifically focused on end-to-end (E2E) machine learning models.
  • A profound grasp of diverse neural network architectures and their integration with both hardware and software stacks within the context of automated driving.
  • Demonstrated success in utilizing AI to mitigate safety-critical risks or solve reliability issues in complex robotic systems.
  • An energetic, collaborative spirit with the ability to inspire and mentor colleagues.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional proficiency in German or Chinese is highly regarded.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally (approximately 25% of the time) to support global project milestones.
