Job description
We are looking for a bright, eloquent engineer to help our customers solve complex technical problems across Applied Intuition’s defense portfolio. In this role, you will work closely with uniformed and civilian customers to ensure Applied Intuition’s solutions deliver maximum impact in advancing the adoption of autonomous systems within the UK & EMEA Defence sector.
- Provide Technical Pre-Sales Support: Support Multi-Domain Systems and Partnerships Leads in pre-sales activities, identifying problem-solution fit with customers and scoping technical solutions and delivery.
- Serve as a Technical Bridge: Act as the primary technical liaison between defence customers and Applied Intuition UK’s engineering and product teams.
- Drive Customer Adoption: Support end-users at all stages to increase and enhance product adoption.
- Lead Customer Engagements: Guide technical discussions, architecture reviews, demos, and deployments with customers in both pre- and post-sale stages.
- Onboard and Integrate: Help customers adopt Applied Intuition’s code-first developer toolchain, onboarding engineering teams onto our SDK/products and integrating them with the customers’ existing infrastructure.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience working within the Defence sector or a relevant technical domain.
- Project Management: Execution-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple customer engagements in parallel.
- Technical Consulting: Experience working directly with customers on complex problems at the intersection of software and vehicle/autonomous systems.
- Education: Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate programming experience in C/C++, Python, or similar languages.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Military Experience: Prior service in a European or allied military branch.
- Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Applied Intuition’s applications.
- Specialized Tech Skills: Exposure to perception systems or AI/ML pipelines applied to in-vehicle experiences.
- Simulation & Testing: Experience with simulation environments or digital twin platforms to validate vehicle software.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Project management experience in cross-functional, customer-facing programs.
