Application Security Engineer

• Translate security principles into requirements and controls that can be understood and implemented across our platforms
• Lead security reviews of varying scale and depth, including threat modelling, design review, consultation and code reviews, to improve the overall security of our applications
• Assess vulnerabilities in AI-enabled applications and services, and leverage AI tools and agents to improve security analysis and developer enablement
• Champion security with developers in both technical and non-technical terms
• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and independently
• Educate and raise awareness of security across our teams and partners

• Experience defining controls for complex environments independent of the underlying platform or technology
• Detailed knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and how to design appropriate security controls in relation to it
• Experience working with secure coding tools, including SCA, SAST and secrets tools
• Experience identifying and addressing vulnerabilities throughout the SDLC, with the ability to switch between defensive and offensive mindsets
• Experience securing AI-enabled applications and assessing common AI/LLM vulnerabilities
• Strong communication skills and proven stakeholder management within and outside technology departments
• Experience guiding and developing engineers on best practices
• Passion for learning and continuously developing security knowledge
