Job description

We are seeking a motivated Fullstack Developer to help build and scale our AI-powered operational intelligence platform, across its React.js front end and PostgreSQL-backed services. This role sits at the intersection of modern web application development, secure backend engineering, and DevSecOps practice.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience building production React.js applications, designing and optimizing PostgreSQL schemas and queries, and working within secure, CI/CD-driven development pipelines for government and enterprise environments. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys owning features end-to-end, from data model to UI, and who takes a security-conscious approach to everyday engineering decisions.

Location

In-Person / Hybrid (US Domestic) Preferred.

Clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance preferred.

Essential Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain React.js front-end applications
  • Build and optimize PostgreSQL data models, queries, and migrations to support platform scalability
  • Develop and maintain RESTful/GraphQL APIs connecting front-end and backend services
  • Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, build, and deployment stages
  • Apply secure coding practices across the stack, including input validation, authentication/authorization, and dependency management
  • Collaborate with product, design, and AI engineering teams to translate requirements into shipped features
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the front-end and backend
  • Support integration work with external systems (e.g., Salesforce, Outlook) as the platform’s integration footprint grows
  • Contribute to technical documentation and onboarding materials for the engineering team
  • Write and maintain automated tests across unit, regression, and integration levels to catch defects before they reach production

What You’ll Work On

  • React.js front end and PostgreSQL-backed services
  • Secure CI/CD pipeline modernization
  • Cross-system integrations (Salesforce, Outlook, and beyond)
  • AI-enabled workflow features
  • Government and enterprise cloud deployments
  • Automated test coverage across unit, regression, and integration levels

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience building production applications with React.js
  • Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Solid understanding of secure software development practices and common web application security risks (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
  • Experience with RESTful API design and integration
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end tooling
  • Familiarity with version control workflows (Git) and code review practices
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and practices, spanning unit, regression, and integration testing (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or similar), * Experience with cloud-native deployments in AWS or AWS GovCloud
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
  • Exposure to AI-enabled or LLM-integrated application architectures
  • Experience supporting ATO, RMF, or related compliance efforts
  • Active or previously held U.S. Government security clearance
  • Experience supporting DoD, federal, or national security customers

Desired Traits

  • Builder mindset with strong ownership and execution skills
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and rapidly evolving technical environments
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Security-conscious by default, not as an afterthought
  • Ability to balance feature velocity with code quality and reliability
