Job description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Mainframe Developer to join their team. This individual will support, maintain, and enhance applications within a Natural/Adabas environment. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, developing and testing code, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mainframe development and be interested in supporting future modernization initiatives as the organization evaluates a transition to .NET technologies.

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience developing applications using Natural

  • 1-3+ years of experience working with Adabas databases

  • Experience with COBOL

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience with .NET development

  • Experience supporting mainframe-to-.NET migration projects

  • SQL Server experience
