Job description

· Lead the development and management of EDI implementation projects, utilizing your expertise in analysis, specification, and interpretation.

· Onboard new transaction sets and implement advanced EDI functionality, ensuring seamless integration with trading partners.

· Conduct end-to-end implementation and testing of new trading partners, monitoring data flow through EDI applications to maintain operational integrity.

· Provide ongoing support for existing business processes, proactively identifying and addressing system issues as they arise.

· Define and execute comprehensive test plans to integrate trading partners effectively, validating data accuracy and consistency with established business rules.

· Maintain and administer EDI integrations, including daily file processing, technical support, and system configuration.

· Ensure on-time data transfer operations and conduct quality checks to uphold data accuracy.

· Troubleshoot and debug system and data errors, implementing corrective measures to maintain accuracy.

· Document EDI business process requirements and create technical documentation to support EDI functions.

· Manage relationships with multiple trading partners, fostering strong vendor relationships.

Requirements

Our client is seeking a seasoned EDI Sterling Analyst with extensive experience in the supply chain industry to join the team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will play a pivotal role in enterprise IT projects, leveraging your deep knowledge of supply chain logistics to drive successful EDI implementations and integrations., · Utilize EDI integration experience with JDE/Oracle EnterpriseOne and/or Oracle Transportation Management to streamline operations.

Technical Skills:

· Develop detailed specifications for X12, XML, and JSON data formats.

· Proficient in data mapping and conversion using IBM Sterling Integrator tools.

· Thorough understanding of X12 EDI transaction sets related to customer, vendor, transportation, and banking transactions.

· Experience with translation tools such as SI Map editor and Graphical Process Modeler.

· Proficient in setting up and supporting communication protocols like FTP, SFTP, AS2, and VAN.

· Ability to develop integrations using Rest API and other modern EDI platforms.

· Execute installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration.

· Analyze and proactively prevent data translation and transfer issues.

· Implement new client groups by coordinating with internal and external trading partners.

· Create customer-specific business rules to meet system and business requirements.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and collaboration tools like Teams.

Qualifications:

· 9+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator 5.2.6 or above.

· 5-6 years of business process development experience.

· 5-6 years of map development experience (X12, XML, EDIFACT, CSV, Flat files).

· EDI transactions experience must be related to Supply Chain/Purchase Orders/Logistics area (850, 855, 860, 865, 856, 810) ** Healthcare experience is not relevant to this role **

· Strong understanding of communication protocols like FTP, SFTP, AS2.

· Familiarity with EDI VAN and various EDI and non-EDI formats like ANSI X12, XML, CSV, Flat files, and EDIFACT.
