Job Title: Cloud Architect Location: TechM US Texas Plano#DISHDASH Years of Experience: 15+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a strong focus on AWS Architecture to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in cloud computing, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost effective cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services and best practices, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to drive cloud adoption and innovation. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on AWS that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
• Evaluate existing cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements to enhance performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the cloud adoption lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including design patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, and assess their potential impact on the organization.
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and provide recommendations for migration strategies.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Extensive experience with AWS architecture, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying scalable and resilient cloud solutions.
• Expertise in cloud migration strategies and tools.
• Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud architecture and solutions.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successful cloud implementations in large scale environments.
