Job description

As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design, automation, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications., * Design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

Lead DevOps initiatives across development, testing, staging, and production environments
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions using tools such as Ansible and Puppet
Manage and optimize Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-based environments
Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Ruby, Java, or similar languages
Support software development teams through the full application lifecycle
Architect scalable, resilient, and high-availability solutions
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve operational efficiency
Serve as a technical leader within Agile development teams
Collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or additional 4 years of experience)
10+ years of DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related experience
Strong expertise with:
Git and version control best practices
Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS)
Docker and Kubernetes
Jenkins and/or Bamboo
AWS cloud environments
Infrastructure Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies, * Experience with Python, Go, Java, Ruby, C++, or similar programming languages
Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN)
Experience supporting Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
Elasticsearch (Kibana a plus)
Redis, ActiveMQ, Memcache, or similar technologies
