Temp Data Specialist

Our client is seeking a Data Specialist to provide long-term temporary support for key program and operational initiatives. This role will help process ECM data, manage quality assurance activities, and support data migration efforts to PearSuite, while also assisting with reporting, tracking, and program support needs.

The right candidate will be comfortable handling reporting requests, maintaining accurate records, identifying data issues, and helping teams use information to improve processes and outcomes., * Collect, organize, track, and maintain program and operational data

• Process ECM data and support ongoing data management activities
• Assist with quality assurance processes by reviewing data accuracy and identifying discrepancies
• Support data migration efforts to PearSuite and help ensure clean, accurate record transfers
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and other data tracking tools
• Respond to internal data requests and provide routine reporting support
• Help monitor program performance metrics and support outcome tracking
• Partner with internal teams, staff, and contractors to support accurate data collection and reporting practices
• Present findings, summaries, and recommendations in a clear and user-friendly format
• Assist with process documentation and recommend improvements to data workflows when needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Public Administration, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, program support, or related work
• Strong experience with data entry, data tracking, reporting, and record accuracy
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with databases or data management systems
• Ability to organize information, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in public sector, nonprofit, healthcare, or community-based organizations
• Familiarity with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Results-Based Accountability (RBA), or similar reporting/performance frameworks
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
• Prior experience supporting program operations, compliance-related reporting, or policy-related initiatives
