Job description
Seeking a motivated Senior Analytic Developer to support the exciting Analytic Solutions mission. The developer will partner with analysts, mission stakeholders, and fellow developers to create and evolve analytic capabilities that help identify targets, behaviors, and emerging discovery opportunities. This role combines hands-on software development with rapid prototyping, analytic tradecraft, cloud integration, and close collaboration with mission users. The developer will evaluate existing analytics, develop new approaches, and integrate complementary techniques to deliver capabilities greater than any individual analytic alone.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
- Develop, enhance, and deploy software supporting target discovery and mission analytics.
- Work directly with analysts and customer stakeholders to understand analytic needs, capture tradecraft, and transform manual techniques into automated analytics and repeatable workflows.
- Build prototypes, evaluate existing analytic capabilities for applicability and performance, and integrate complementary techniques to improve discovery outcomes.
- Respond to evolving mission priorities and world events by rapidly adapting and delivering analytic solutions., * Design, develop, test, integrate, document, and deploy analytic software using sound software engineering practices.
- Develop reusable solutions, manage code configurations, perform comprehensive unit and integration testing, and participate in peer design and code reviews.
- Incorporate analytics into approved cloud architectures and work with enterprise hosting, storage, and development environments.
- Evaluate analytic code for compatibility, performance, strengths, and limitations prior to integration.
- Support the complete lifecycle of analytic capabilities from prototype through operational deployment, sustainment, and continued evolution.
- Develop supporting technical documentation and work with analysts to capture and communicate analytic tradecraft.
Desired Technical Skills
- Knowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories.
- Experience with Maven, Query Time Analytics, and JavaScript. Knowledge of DataXplorer and experience working with geolocation data.

Requirements
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, plus 8-years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise developing production software in Java, with experience designing, testing, debugging, integrating, and maintaining complex software applications.
- Experience translating mission or user needs into technical solutions and collaborating with analysts, developers, and technical stakeholders.
Benefits & conditions
$86.20 - $136.27 an hour
Pay Range: $86.20 - $136.27 per hour*
Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
