Job description
Seasoned Software Integration Engineer with proven experience building, debugging, and maintaining Java and Python based integration services on AWS Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems. Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems. Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains. Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders This position is eligible for a $5k bonus! (Includes 20% SEP IRA contribution) Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilties
- Systematic root cause analysis; can break down a problem into reproducible steps and communicate findings clearly.
- Works effectively with the team (internal and cross domain); comfortable reviewing MRs and providing constructive feedback.
- Takes end to end responsibility for integration components-from design through production support.
- Hands on software development focused on integration, or API centric products.
- Direct experience building and maintaining services in AWS (including production monitoring) i.e. Lambda, OSS, Cloud Watch, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB
Requirements
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.

An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 5 years. ***Ability to support an on-call rotation Desired Technical Skills (1+ of the below)
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex, cross language codebases (Java * Python) under pressure (e.g., on call rotations)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with regular sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming.
