Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce deployment pipelines across Development, SIT, QA, UAT, and Production environments. The candidate should have strong experience with AutoRABIT, Git, Salesforce DX, metadata management, deployment automation, release management, Salesforce environments, and CI/CD best practices. The candidate will work closely with Salesforce developers, architects, administrators, QA teams, Business Analysts, and project managers to ensure reliable, repeatable, and auditable Salesforce releases. Key Responsibilities Salesforce DevOps & AutoRABIT

  • Provide hands-on administration and implementation of AutoRABIT for Salesforce deployments.
  • Design and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using AutoRABIT.
  • Configure AutoRABIT repositories, environments, deployment pipelines, and release processes.
  • Manage Salesforce metadata deployments across multiple environments.
  • Configure automated validation, deployment, testing, and rollback processes.
  • Troubleshoot AutoRABIT deployment failures and metadata conflicts.
  • Manage deployment dependencies and sequencing.
  • Monitor deployment status and resolve pipeline issues.
  • Establish Salesforce DevOps standards and best practices using AutoRABIT.
  • Support developers and administrators with AutoRABIT deployment processes.

Salesforce CI/CD

  • Build and maintain automated Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment across Salesforce environments.
  • Automate:

  • Metadata validation
  • Apex testing
  • Code deployment
  • Static code analysis
  • Package creation
  • Release promotion
  • Establish appropriate deployment gates and approvals.
  • Reduce manual deployment activities and deployment-related errors.
  • Implement repeatable and auditable release processes.

Salesforce Environment Management Manage and coordinate deployments across:

  • Development
  • Integration/SIT
  • QA
  • UAT
  • Pre-Production
  • Production

Responsibilities include:

  • Environment synchronization.
  • Sandbox refresh coordination.
  • Deployment sequencing.
  • Environment readiness checks.
  • Metadata comparison.
  • Release validation.
  • Production deployment coordination.

Git & Source Control

  • Manage Salesforce source code using Git.
  • Work with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar repositories.
  • Implement branching strategies for Salesforce development.
  • Manage pull requests, merges, branches, and releases.
  • Resolve merge conflicts.
  • Maintain source-code repositories and metadata.
  • Establish appropriate branching and version-control standards.

Salesforce DX

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce DX / SFDX.
  • Work with Salesforce CLI and source-driven development.
  • Manage Salesforce metadata in source control.
  • Create and manage scratch orgs where applicable.
  • Execute Salesforce CLI commands for deployments, validation, testing, and metadata retrieval.
  • Support source-format and metadata-format conversions.
  • Automate Salesforce DX activities within CI/CD pipelines.

Release Management

  • Coordinate Salesforce releases across development and production environments.
  • Create deployment plans and release schedules.
  • Manage deployment dependencies.
  • Coordinate with developers, QA, business analysts, and release managers.
  • Perform pre-deployment validation.
  • Support production releases and post-deployment validation.
  • Maintain release documentation and deployment records.
  • Implement rollback and recovery procedures.
  • Track deployment metrics and release quality.

  • Follow enterprise change-management processes.
  • Maintain appropriate separation of duties between development and production.
  • Ensure deployment processes are auditable.
  • Support compliance and release governance requirements.

Agile Collaboration

  • Work within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and release planning.
  • Work with Jira for deployment and release-related stories.
  • Coordinate with developers and QA on sprint releases.

The Corporate Systems team is seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AutoRABIT and Salesforce CI/CD., * 5+ years of Salesforce DevOps / release management experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on AutoRABIT experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience building and managing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong Salesforce metadata and deployment knowledge.
