Job description
- Facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies and PI planning activities to support successful Agile delivery.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile frameworks, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Mentor teams across Development, Testing, Business Analysis, DevOps, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Integration functions.
- Identify delivery risks, process inefficiencies, and operational gaps; recommend and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to drive alignment and remove impediments.
- Monitor team health, delivery metrics, and Agile maturity to promote predictable and sustainable delivery outcomes.
- Support adoption of AI-enabled tools and practices that improve efficiency, collaboration, and delivery performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) planning.
- Prior hands-on technical experience in one or more Scrum team disciplines, such as software development, quality assurance/testing, business analysis, requirements gathering, or DevOps, before transitioning into Scrum Master or Project Management roles.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor cross-functional Scrum teams in Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement., * Experience supporting large-scale Agile transformations.
- Background working in highly regulated environments, including insurance or financial services.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and practices to improve team productivity, efficiency, and delivery outcomes., * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to assess technical dependencies, risks, and blockers and facilitate resolution.
- Experience with Agile and work management tools, including:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Ativo
- Working knowledge of development, testing, DevOps, integration, and release management practices.
