CLEARED - Network Engineer (Cloud)

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of secure network connectivity between classified environments and cloud platforms, including Azure Government and other mission-critical cloud environments. This individual will partner closely with cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to modernize network architecture, enable program onboarding, and support the growing demand for hybrid cloud connectivity across the enterprise.

You will be responsible for:

• Design, implement, and support secure connectivity between classified on-premises environments and cloud platforms.
• Engineer and maintain WAN, VPN, routing, switching, and encrypted network solutions supporting multiple programs and geographic locations.
• Support the integration of enterprise computing capabilities (ECC) into cloud environments and help expand cloud access across classified programs.
• Partner with cloud engineering teams to develop and troubleshoot networking solutions within Azure Government and classified cloud environments.
• Ensure network architectures meet security, compliance, and operational requirements for government and classified workloads.
• Support network capacity planning and connectivity growth as additional programs migrate to centralized cloud services.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-hosted environments.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation initiatives utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver scalable, repeatable networking solutions.
• Help enable secure cloud connectivity and shared services for an expanding portfolio of classified government programs.

• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience supporting enterprise, government, or classified environments
• Strong understanding of Wide Area Networking (WAN) concepts, architectures, and connectivity solutions
• Experience designing and supporting connectivity between Enterprise Computing Capabilities (ECC) and cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking in Azure, Azure Government, AWS, or other enterprise cloud platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing, switching, VPNs, and secure network communications
• Understanding of network encryption technologies and secure connectivity within classified environments
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud architectures and integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud-hosted services
• Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues across enterprise, cloud, and classified environments
• Strong collaboration skills working across cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams
• Local to Dallas, TX (Cityline/Mckinney)

Compensation: $65-80/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
